Start with the question you actually have
Ask Moonvine in a direct message when the work is private. Mention Moonvine in an authorized channel when the answer belongs with the team. You do not need to know account slugs or tool names: name the company naturally and state the decision, comparison, period, or output you need.
Good starting questions are concrete:
- “What changed for Culina Health this month?”
- “Compare our last 30 days of social activity with competitors.”
- “What are competitors saying about this category in recent public filings and news?”
What Moonvine checks
Moonvine combines the evidence your account is allowed to use: website and content, search, social activity, configured competitors, reports, documents, public-company information, news, and relevant Market Voices. It gives the direct read first, identifies useful uncertainty, and names the next research move only when it matters.
When a relevant approved public source is stale or incomplete, Moonvine can queue a bounded refresh. It will say whether work was collected, queued, deduplicated, blocked, or unavailable. It will not pretend a refresh ran when it did not.
Slack is the conversation surface
Slack is best for a compact analyst read, a shared decision, and the next move. Moonvine can add a small chart when the evidence supports one, attach a CSV or XLSX when you ask for rows, and link to the full evidence or report when the work outgrows a message.
For large tables, source review, report editing, and durable exports, open the investigation in Moonvine. Slack and Moonvine write to the same research case, so you do not have to reconstruct the question or explain the context again.
Where the work lives
Every question, alert, report delivery, export, and evidence follow-up belongs to a durable research case. In Moonvine Messages, use the conversation timeline to review what happened across Slack, web, and email. Web work stays private unless you explicitly send a note back to the originating Slack thread.
